At the close of January 8, methanol FOB in the US Gulf dropped 0.25 cents per gallon to 99.5-100 cents (US$331.3-333 per ton), while methanol FOB in Rotterdam, Europe, fell 277-278 (US$317.1-318.2 per ton) to 3.5 euros per ton.
